With Renewed Mind

October 3, 2015 Leave a comment

As i enjoy fellowship with the Men Of Valor on retreat this weekend and ending in time to return home for the Rival SEC game Ga vs, no really Men coming together to fellowship ,renew and make new acquaintance’s, worshipping in one accord, which has been a constant renewal message my spirit keeps feeding on, the Theme of our retreat is “Quit ye like Men” taken from 1 Corinthians 16:13, in essence: be on guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong(NIV). I arrived early as i am proud to make this my second retreat, I love the tranquility of nature as i sat out overlooking the lake and the soft ripples moving on the waters surface, I began to prepare my spirit to receive the message and Pray in advance for the retreat, God has a way of directing the path we take if obedience to listen is in our spirit, I was led to a periscope by Tasha Page-Lockhart, doing a pre-prayer, in which she spoke of the need for prayer worriers to stand and pray often for others and events taking place all over the world, to not be complacent, in our faith, and then to have our pastor xpress his desire for us to step into our individual Ministries , to be on continuous alert as to the needs of others, i was quickly reminded about scripture that states Matthew 6:25 not to worry about my own needs as God already knows my needs, and to even expound  further as we become more concerned with the needs of others God has a way of giving increase, to do even more good works, we must understand that it truly is God that Provides the increase, Jesus Ministry here on earth asked nothing of us but belief and His essence flowed forward freely, in return our spiritual essence which is the good in us the Love in us, the compassion in us should likewise flow from us to others, and God will provide the increased ,with all that’s going on around us today, we as Christians need to stand fast, renew daily your spirit, to stand fast in your Faith…Goodnight all

Randomness In Christian Faith

(Me)ss)age… It’s not about Me, or my Mess, It’s all about the message (Gods) and how I live it out daily in my Life… Quoted from Pastor Janet Mushegan-Watson, her wisdom is beyond words!!!!!

Tithes say the word and the reactions to say the least are mixed, we are in a Biblical time or Dispensation that requires truth from our Pastors now more than ever not just a feel good sermon until next Sunday, but a true preparation of the flock so-to-speak as this is the Year of Harvest, as God has given us all a ministry not just the Pastoral Head of your Church ,but the whole body of Christ is given a ministry, howbeit, teaching, giving, praying, the list is countless as is Gods promises to all whom would serve him, preparation is key, God gives you, me an opportunity to prove him(test) in one area, this is in the area of Tithe

Malachi 3:10 (KJV) reads Bring ye all the Tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you (say me as this is true today as then) the windows of Heaven, and pour you (Say Me claim the blessings God has prepared for you) out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it…. to truly understand this passage you need to read the chapter in its entirety, with prayer and supplication the word is understood in the spirit not by carnal intelligence, a true belief and Faith is key, If you attend a church and you do not tithe, it is not the church that suffers, but it is you, contrary to popular belief tithing is a duty as a child of God, If this has given you food for thought leave a message…. If you seek more on the subject I implore you to listen to the first fruits series in it’s entirety at   taught by Bishop and : Senior Pastor H. Alan Mushegan

I promise it will be the biggest blessing……

The Gift we were given

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

The above passage comes out of the Book Of Isaiah It predates the birth of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, But yet it foretells of his coming and all of his wondrous works, as with a country that was founded on the principles of God, and a Holiday that was created to celebrate the Birth of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, in both creations the principles have been manipulated (bastardized) to remove in most cases the very foundation upon which it,(the country and holiday was created for……

I ask that you reflect on the events of this year and honestly ask of yourself what you can do to step into your personal Ministry, as a professed Christian in the body of Christ we all are given a ministry to spread the Gospel of Christ, you need not be a Pastor, teacher, or Bible Scholar, your Ministry may be just your personal testimony ,People need to here how God saved you, your ministry may be intercessory prayer(to intercede for others), The Ministry of Giving , the list goes on, I challenge you to seek God for your Ministry before the new year approaches, be still and listen God will answer !!!!!

God has given us a Gift step into it with right standing on your part, seek your own personal covenant with God as opposed to a new year resolution, resolutions are meant to fix problems, covenants are pledges (Agreements) between you and your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He cared enough to Die for you and rise again that you would have eternal Life. Care enough to step into your Gift……

Gods Freedom

free Growing up in the earlier 70’s the distractions of this world were far less complicated ,gym shoes three choices converse, prokeds , or the Kmart specials, go ahead laugh but it’s true, nowadays the same shoe store carries know less than 100 different pairs of sneakers from walking to jogging to running and even dress sneakers,because even a suit deserves to be dressed down……

I only use the comparison above to show how choices have evolved over time, In the beginning the choices given to Adam and Eve were minimal but life altering to say the least, Stay in Gods presents and enjoy all the earthly and spiritual joys of Eden (freedoms) or because choice was given to man the will to be a free-thinker, choose to step out of Gods presence and endure the results of those choices (bonds of slavery to this world), God gives instructions by choice not force to seek his will for our lives…..

In 1John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Read vs…. 16-17 for self edification…….This is an instruction but, through Gods grace he gave us freedom to choose, what ever you seek daily for your life becomes your God, the passage instructs us to love not the world or the things of it, now lets break this down , we live in this world but for Christians this is not are final destination ,Heaven Is our home…..Yes we need the basics food clothing and shelter all else become wants, as we began to focus on Gods will are needs of earthly things become less and more is given, remember i said what we seek becomes our God, seek fame, money, fancy cars, cloths, homes you may find them in the temporary, but at what cost, Jesus instructs in Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you. What things???

The things we need in abundance will be provided, Now for those of you whom may be quite literal in nature I’m not stating to you to sit and do nothing , yes go to work ,just remember to keep “God first” in any and all things we do, and if you feel like God can’t be included then literally you should not be doing it….

Like always Feed the Body and Feed the Soul…

Renew ones self Daily

December 31, 2013 Leave a comment

christ A new year is upon us, during this Time i reflect heavy on the year prior as a way of bettering ones self, making no excuses for the mishaps of year prior and no boasting in the accomplishments either…..As a man of Faith I seek my Flagship verse to carry me into the New Year and Lead me into Gods Grace a tool to Hope against Hope that my desires align with Gods will for my Life…..Ps 119:105

I encourage any and all reading this Blog to renew yourself in Gods word Daily, I challenge you to seek His face in the still of early morning before you do anything Daily and be amazed by the blessings both small and large, write down your Prayers, compare what you ask to his word seek the promises in the word and include it in your Prayer and watch the Word manifest itself in your Life…….Matt 7:8

Intercede Heavily in Prayer for others and our Country (Obama) or any other politician is not the answer,the blame or reason, we were founded on the principles of God, Our Countries political process has gotten further and further away from God yearly, and in mans need to blame the Top of the food chain is always a good place to start, as people of Faith and Prayer our focus should be Prayer for a unilateral revival toward God not Politics…..Our Bible clearly prophesizes that Our Government would, will and is going asunder seeking to create a one world Government that will replace God as we know him to be… so find this not strange…..Daniel, Isaiah, Revelations whole books….study to show ones self approved rightly dividing the word of God, This new year will see major change in the body of christ…..1Peter 4:12-19

Lastly seek to Love others more in the new year,do for others more in the new year,renew ones self more in the new year…May God Bless us all In this New Year 2014…….

The Reason we Live is because He was Born

The Reason for the Season Is Christ Jesus himself not the fanfare of Gift giving that this season has become, know don’t get me wrong I’ve enjoyed all that comes this time of year I’m a toys r us kind of guy!!!!!! The reason(Jesus Christ) as this world becomes more and more secular in nature as Satan has free reign to do and manipulate, for a country that was founded on the principles of Christianity, Society has become so far removed from The Reason, The season for many has become Happy Holiday not Merry Christmas, The Reason is why we celebrate Christ Birth, regardless of the actual day of his birth which we know not as the months as we know them know were not the same in length of time.

As Christians now more than ever through demonstration we are left to be the example of The reason, review Luke 1 a powerful testament to obeying the word of God, in this case Mary is our example…..

Luk 1:1  Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
Luk 1:2  Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
Luk 1:3  It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,
Luk 1:4  That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.
Luk 1:5  There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
Luk 1:6  And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
Luk 1:7  And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.
Luk 1:8  And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before God in the order of his course,
Luk 1:9  According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.
Luk 1:10  And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
Luk 1:11  And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
Luk 1:12  And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
Luk 1:13  But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
Luk 1:14  And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
Luk 1:15  For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.
Luk 1:16  And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
Luk 1:17  And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
Luk 1:18  And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
Luk 1:19  And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
Luk 1:20  And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
Luk 1:21  And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.
Luk 1:22  And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.
Luk 1:23  And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.
Luk 1:24  And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,
Luk 1:25  Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
Luk 1:26  And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
Luk 1:27  To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
Luk 1:28  And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
Luk 1:29  And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
Luk 1:30  And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
Luk 1:31  And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Luk 1:32  He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
Luk 1:33  And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Luk 1:34  Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
Luk 1:35  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Luk 1:36  And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
Luk 1:37  For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luk 1:38  And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
Luk 1:39  And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
Luk 1:40  And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
Luk 1:41  And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
Luk 1:42  And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
Luk 1:43  And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
Luk 1:44  For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
Luk 1:45  And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
Luk 1:46  And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
Luk 1:47  And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
Luk 1:48  For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
Luk 1:49  For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
Luk 1:50  And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
Luk 1:51  He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
Luk 1:52  He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
Luk 1:53  He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
Luk 1:54  He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
Luk 1:55  As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
Luk 1:56  And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house.
Luk 1:57  Now Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.
Luk 1:58  And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
Luk 1:59  And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.
Luk 1:60  And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.
Luk 1:61  And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.
Luk 1:62  And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.
Luk 1:63  And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.
Luk 1:64  And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.
Luk 1:65  And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea.
Luk 1:66  And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.
Luk 1:67  And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
Luk 1:68  Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
Luk 1:69  And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
Luk 1:70  As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
Luk 1:71  That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
Luk 1:72  To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
Luk 1:73  The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
Luk 1:74  That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
Luk 1:75  In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
Luk 1:76  And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
Luk 1:77  To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
Luk 1:78  Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
Luk 1:79  To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Luk 1:80  And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.

Mary never questioned the Holy Guidance, as Zacharias did, as a result God was able to enrich and bless Mary beyond measure, The holy spirit so often tries to guide our steps,we see two examples of Gods work in our lives, Zacharias wavering against instruction caused a delay in his blessings, contrary we have Mary heeding the word of God and moving into an immediate blessing, Christ is our reason may you continue to be blessed and enjoy this season
